Michelle Park, M.A., M.S.Ed.

I am a licensed clinical therapist based in Seoul, South Korea, providing individual therapy in both Korean and English. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with clients from more than 25 countries and across a wide range of cultural, ethnic, social, and religious backgrounds. My clinical experience includes supporting bicultural and multicultural individuals, multicultural families, third culture individuals, Korean American veterans, expatriates and their families, international students, Korean adoptees, Korean returnees, local Korean nationals, and foreign professionals living and working in South Korea. I have also collaborated with churches, international organizations, and educational institutions, including international schools across the country.

At SharingSpring, I provide individual therapy for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, panic disorder, ADHD, relationship and interpersonal difficulties, identity and belonging, cross-cultural adjustment, workplace stress, grief and loss, and life transitions. I also work with clients navigating identity development, intercultural challenges, self-esteem, career concerns, and adjustment-related stress. In addition, I offer parent consultation and support for individuals experiencing parenting-related challenges.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from multicultural counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and psychodynamic psychotherapy. I believe that every person’s experiences, relationships, and cultural background shape how they understand themselves and the world around them. Because many people begin therapy during seasons of uncertainty or vulnerability, I strive to create a collaborative, culturally responsive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. Together, we work to deepen self-understanding, strengthen emotional resilience, and foster meaningful, lasting change that extends beyond the therapy room.

I view therapy as a collaborative journey built on trust, openness, and mutual commitment. It is a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they navigate life’s challenges, and it is my hope that, through our work together, we discover moments of growth, healing, and renewal—our own experience of “spring.”

Thank you for considering SharingSpring. I sincerely appreciate the trust it takes to seek support, and I would be honored to accompany you on your journey toward greater well-being and meaningful change.
